Our trip was amazing, we loved every part of it. We spent the first two days exploring town and getting settled followed by a spa day at the hotel which was very nice and much needed. We then spent the next three days doing full day hikes and ended on a relaxing day before heading home.
We loved the hotel! It was only about a mile or two out of town so we were able to get away from the busyness but still only took a few minutes to get to the downtown area. Our room was on the top floor and the second room from the end near the suite so we had an amazing view of the mountains. The rooms were very nice and clean. The hotel also had 3 restaurants which we tried 2 of and were very pleased. We had to pay for parking each day but it was an underground lot that was convenient for us to use daily. We also worked with an amazing concierge at the hotel. He helped us with reservations, hiking information, and even gave us a ride to supper one night when we were getting away from downtown. Another nice thing, that we did not know till we arrived, was there was a bus that stopped at the hotel every 20 minutes to go to downtown so we did not have to drive or line up a taxi if we were going out for supper or drinks. This was a city bus but we were able to ride for free since we were staying at the Rimrock and just had to show a room key.
